The Kenhorst
Volunteer Fire Company, serves a small community
that borders the Southwest corner of the City of Reading, Pennsylvania.
The population is approximately 2,679 people. The land area is
approximately 0.6 miles.
Our Mission
To provide assistance to
the residents of the Borough of Kenhorst, and
surrounding municipalities in their time of need.
Department Profile
The Kenhorst
Volunteer Fire Department is completely 100% volunteer. Our department is
comprised of many different facets of people, from Truck Driver,
Electrician to the Business Professional, and Police Officer. We are
comprised of approximately 40 volunteer members, consisting of the Fire
Chief, and Line Officers; Firefighters, and Drivers; Junior Firefighters,
Fire Police, and Canteen.

drill usually on Tuesday evenings starting at 7PM. If you need to contact
us feel free to stop by and visit, or you can
use any of the methods below. Please use 911 for EMERGENCIES ONLY! We do
have an answering machine if we are not at the firehouse, and will return
your call promptly.
